Static or dynamic QR: which one should you use?

Static codes suit a fixed spot at the counter; dynamic codes suit a single payment for a known amount.

A static QR code never changes. Print it once and the customer enters the amount themselves.

A dynamic QR code is created for one payment and already includes the amount, so there is nothing to type.

Many businesses use both: a static code at the counter and dynamic codes on invoices and delivery dockets.
